The divine feminine

This morning I pulled the Queen of Pentacles. For me this morning this card is symbolic of loving, nurturing feminine energy, the earth mother aspects of the Goddess in human form. I have been blessed with a lot of this kind of love and energy lately and I am so soaking it in. In response I am invoking the Empress, the divine feminine, the Lady, in celebration of the wonderful nurturing love I have in my life.

Discernment is the key

I pulled the Devil again today. This is a card that brings up a lot of Shadow energy for me. The Devil leads to the Tower. Discernment is the key here. The ability to differentiate between what is tearing us down and what needs to be torn down. I am invoking the Queen of Swords. This queen is the mask cutter and her blade and her focus can separate reality from illusion.

Now we begin anew

This morning before I knew that Simon, our foster kitten, is crashing, I pulled the Star. The Star follows the Tower in the major arcana. It’s a card of rebuilding and being on the right path. Our cattery is in disarray right now following the death of Shadow last week, the ensuing struggle among the remaining cats and now this. This morning I invoked the Ace of Wands. This is a card for manifestation, the power of fire to melt, burn and transform. Now we begin anew, like the Phoenix…

Be your own primary partner

Today I pulled the Hermit. The Hermit reminds us that taking care of ourselves is necessary. In the Hermit’s lantern is the Star. This is a period of walking our own path alone. The Ace of Cups is the card I am invoking. This often is a card for new love or possibility. I am invoking it to remember that I am my own primary partner and our most important relationship is loving ourselves.

Walking a magical path, knowing that you are indeed the steward of your life and you can be one with the universe and can manifest desired outcomes is the message of the Magician. Today I pulled the Empress. I see this as nurturing and creative energy. A person who has a lot of love to give. I am invoking the 2 of Cups. The twos are about duality. It’s often a sign of a sweet relationship that is balanced and right. The bringing of two halves together whether in a relationship with another or in the one with ourselves.
