March forward with yourself

This morning I pulled the Strength card. I read this card as being strong through, and by, being in alignment and unified in body, mind and spirit. Being focused, authentic, genuine and free of internal conflict we can do amazing things. I am invoking the three of Wands. This card indicates expansion, acting with Strength we step forward confident that we are exactly where we are meant to be, going forward to where we are meant to go and supported by the universe in our endeavors.

Entering the Liminal

The Ace of Swords often brings swift and sudden news that can break your heart. That’s the card I pulled today. This news cuts away things. The loss will be great but my brother has been sick for awhile and is ready to go. In response I am invoking the Moon. The Moon illuminates our path with slivers of light and guides us to our deepest selves to find the answers we seek.

Liminality Today

Yesterday I pulled the Page of Wands. It’s a call for courage and beauty. Being with family as one of us is in that liminal space between life and beyond life. I invoked the High Priestess and am looking for her to show me the path forward.

Responsible Masculine Energy

Today I pulled the King of Wands. As I read it, this card has a lot of physical traditional normative male energy to it. The focus is on stimulating, often sexual, energy, passion and not on emotional connection. I am invoking the Emperor. This is also a male normative card but it tempers this masculine energy with responsibility, decision making and awareness of consequences.

Love and love again

This morning I pulled The Lovers. I am invoking The 2 of Cups for the lovely and unexpected journey Sue and I are on. Life is good. Love is amazing.

Couples Therapy

Today I pulled Justice. It’s this card, Justice represented by Couples Therapy, that sold me on the Modern Love tarot deck. This card is especially appropriate now. I am invoking The Two of Wands. This two, to me, represents portals to possibility, windows to other opportunities and the power of choices we have.

Building from the ashes

Today I pulled the Five of Cups. This can be seen as a card of loss, regret and/or sorrow. Maybe something is not going well or as you (I) hoped it would. Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. Impermanence is the nature of life. I am invoking the Star. Just as the Star follows the Tower, this is a card for rebuilding, the Phoenix rising. The Star reminds us (me) we are exactly where we are intended to be.
