There was a song that was popular when I was young called, “Is That All There Is?” That’s what I hear with the card I pulled today, The Four of Cups. It’s about discontent. That’s where the Devil comes in. Folks think of the Devil working using titillation and temptations. I think the Devil works more through ambivalence, fear of change and boredom. Those are the real chains.
