This loving life

This morning I pulled the 10 of Cups. To me this card speaks to the fulfillment of our loving journey. When I speak of “my loves” this is my loving family inclusive of lovers present and past, other friends, logical family and others on this healing journey called life.

I am invoking the World because this is how I envision it: my loves present (and loves gone from this world) together at a giant kitchen table enjoying a meal and all the love and joy and memories of this wonderful love we share or have shared together.

Judgement and Rebirth

Yesterday morning I pulled Judgement. This card is a difficult one for me and for many others who are gender, sexual and/or relationship minorities (GSRMs, a term I prefer to LGBTQQIP2SA+). GSRMs have been judged by our hetro-mono-gender normative culture and religion as being evil, broken and/or mentally ill for much of our lives. I am looking at Judgement more in terms of it's time to start living your truth, as rebirth.

I invoked The Page of Wands. I spent the day with a delightful GSRM friend. Live your power. Speak your truth and if consent allows, kiss a friend. It was a lovely day.

This morning I pulled the Devil. Do you have something that you are drawn to, a compulsive behavior, perhaps a passion for someone or something that our culture considers transgressive? You know — the kind of thing that might lead you to say, “the Devil made me do it!”

This morning I pulled the Two of Wands. This is a great card for a creative partnership, like an awesome friendship. It can also represent a portal that we walk through together to accomplish a task or start a new phase. Such portals open and close and if you walk through together a journey has begun. Like, buying a car. I invoked Temperance. Temperance tells us when to say no. Like, no not this particular car!

Well the Tower is not a card I would of chosen for today. This card presents us with a major shake up! It makes me wonder what the doctor and/or dentist is going to say today. If it’s unpleasant then it’s something I need to hear. In the words of the Grateful Dead, “Wield to the storm and fly!”
Thirty one years ago today I was about to enter into a storm as well. Then, as now, I was surrounded by my loves who pulled me through. The only card to invoke for me is the Ace of Cups. Love is all you need.

Today I pulled the Eight of Wands. All the "8" pip cards I read as manifestations of the Strength card in their respective suits. These are all shapeshifter cards calling for us to manifest our authenticity. The 8 of Wands is in the element of fire. It speaks of a dramatic shift or realignment. I am invoking the Sun.
